TEREX TO ANNOUNCE "MY TEREX" PROGRAM IN THE M&T PARTS AND SERVICES EXHIBITION FOR LATIN AMERICA

Terex Latin America will officially launch the program during the 2nd Exhibition and Congress of Construction and Mining Technology and Equipment Management, in São Paulo - June 3rd through June 6th.


São Paulo, Brazil - May 2014 - Terex Latin America, manufacturer and distributor of Genie®, Demag®, Powerscreen® and Terex® equipment will be launching the "My Terex" program during the 2nd edition of the 2014 M&T Parts and Services - Exhibition and Congress of Construction and Mining Technology and Equipment Management, to be held in São Paulo. The program will reinforce the company's presence and support for clients, especially in post-sales. Clients will then have access to a direct customer support focused on parts, services, warranty and training on a 24 x 7 basis.

"We want to emphasize the importance of the program creation, which reinforces the superiority of our operations in Brazil and Latin America. The goal is to point out the various parts of the program, which goes through Customer Services, Warranty, Technical Support, Parts, Training, and a team of experts to promptly reply to demands and solve our customers' problems with the Direct Communication channel", explains Eng. Alexandre Flatschart, Post-Sales and CS Senior Manager for Terex LA.

He points out that Terex reports in various business units: Aerial Work Platforms, Cranes, Material Handling, Material Processing, Port Solutions and Utilities. In the occasion, Terex will be presenting the entire servicing processes through My Terex program, as well as it will introduce the mobile servicing model with a properly equipped van. With it, they will run previous diagnosis of customers new and already installed equipment failure, aiming to anticipate potential problems and to cut down resolution time effectively. We believe this program will answer the important customer need for uptime and create an advantage for Terex in the marketplace.

In the past few months, Demag training and services areas developed an operations simulator for Bridge Cranes, to be shown during the event. Using the simulator, visitors will be able to interact and try handling the equipment. "That is a market differential in the training area, both for operations and for maintenance of the equipment", says Flatschart.

The approach strategy also includes presenting Terex LA post-sales services station, to be exhibited then. "Visitors will be able to watch the operational system in action from the moment we answer a call, properly forward it, make internal controls to its final closure upon problem resolution", he explained. With advanced technology, Terex provides a specific software for customer services, which can be activated over a Smart Phone or Tablet. "We rely on innovation to best service our customers. We join technology to our technicians' expertise for post-sales servicing. We count on interaction tools and provide amazing high quality services. Our objective is to solve the problem upon the first call. If that is not possible, we forward that call via Smart Phone or landline over to the region's field services representative. This team member will undertake it from there, which can range from providing information on a more complex issue to in-person assistance. Through My Terex, we can control the entire process", adds Flatschart.
During the presentation of My Terex Program, we will show a video on the daily routine of a Terex LA post-sales technician, from the moment the call is answered to the visit at the client's application. "That is a real shooting, thus showing how we work, while proving the transparency in our relations with clients. This is a new tool we want to introduce in the market".

Furthermore, Flatschart added that participating in the 2nd edition of the M&T Parts and Services (2014) - Exhibition and Congress of Construction and Mining Technology and Equipment Management - with this new launch is extremely important for Terex LA post-sales. "It is our desire to have clients interacting with the company. This is an opportunity for relationships and for leveraging products across Services and Parts Sales areas. Our post-sales teams from all Terex business segments will be ready to host our visitors and to propose the best business solutions", concludes Flatschart.
