DEMAG TECHNOLOGY USED AT A BAR IN RIBEIRÃO PRETO
With a broad range of applications, the brand's products have been used to build a retractable roofing structure at one of the fanciest bars in town.
Thanks to Demag drive technology a newly opened bar and events' space Doppo Lavoro, in Ribeirão Preto in Brazil, could be transformed into an open air arena. Inaugurated in November, 2014, Doppo Lavoro provides over 250 national and imported wine labels, two VIPs areas (meeting room and brotherhood room), ambient music and retractable roofing, which was enabled through Demag technologiy.
Conceived by Tullio Santini Jr. and Gui Calil, owner-partners, the project encompasses a 200 m2 area with a 1,330 kg retractable roofing structure. To make the installation feasible, the Movequip team, representative of Demag products for São Paulo state recommended the production of Two Demag wheel blocks DRS 112, two Demag offset geared motores, one panel for power supply and another one for power distribution, and a control panel to handle the part.
"We wanted to have a full roofing cover to create a differential for our business. Fortunately, Movequip could make this unique project come true in Ribeirão Preto," adds Tullio Jr.
Using standardized components with a broad variety of combination possibilities among them for the most varied types of applications, the Demag team achieved the excellency in the project, providing user-friendliness to assembly and maintenance, besides replacement parts' availability.
"The application of the product is a differential for this type of business. We are glad we could make this project, as it proves that Demag is capable of providing custom solutions to meet each client's needs. The full opening of the restaurant roofing is the differential of the house and a pioneer feature across the towns in the region," says Daniel Vogas commercial technical manager from Movequip.
